Vicky & Andy: Engagement Shoot, Cambridge

Last weekend I met up with Vicky & Andy for their engagement shoot in Cambridge. All the way there I was hoping for a break in the torrential downpour so we could get some shots outside, but unfortunately the rain was relentless and rather than get lighter, it came down heavier as time went on!

However, not deterred  by the weather these two trooped on and we got some great shots around Cambridge city centre. The light outside the Fitzwilliam museum was beautiful and we even snuck a few shots indoors.

The great thing about rain is that you can bring along an umbrella and get some gorgeous shots like this one below.

Vicky & Andy, thank you again for meeting me on such a miserable day for your engagement shoot, I look forward to your September wedding and (fingers crossed) much nicer weather!!

Nicola's Barn Dance Photo Booth

Last weekend Nicky celebrated her 40th birthday and having been planing it for what seems forever we were all excited to attend because it meant we got to dress up as cowboys (and girls!). Everyone made a brilliant effort with their costumes and all got up and took part in line dancing and square dancing all night long.

I set up a photo booth and sure enough as the drink flowed, people ventured in! I just had to upload a few to blog whilst the others are currently burning themselves to disc for Nicky.

If you attended Nicky's Barn Dance, she will soon have a copy of all the images taken on the night, so get in touch to see yours!

Kev's 30th Birthday Photo Booth!

A few weeks back my brother turned 30 and to celebrate we decided to try out a photobooth in the shed in their garden. We made the props after finding some templates online and then Kev and Hayley stuck some old comic pages to an old curtain for our backdrop. It was a real DIY affair!

This is the first photo booth I've tried at a party and it seemed to go down well. As the drink started to flow everybody jumped in front of the camera grabbed a prop and pulled a silly pose. Below are the results from the party.

You can find out more about hiring a photo booth and props for your own parties or wedding on my website under the pricing section. I offer them with onsite printing as well so your guests get to take their pictures home on the night.

Keep your eyes peeled because in a couple of weeks I'm doing a Barn Dance themed booth and I expect the pictures from that one to be brilliant!!
