Jade: Sneak Peek

It's been so long since I did a teen photo shoot so when Jade booked hers up I couldn't have been more excited. She also picked a brilliant location full of lots of great backdrops. I'll share some more soon but in the mean time here is her gorgeous sneak peek!

Summer Holiday Time - Teen Photo Shoot Deal

I have an exciting deal for teenagers this summer. To celebrate the end of your exams, finishing school or college I am reducing the price of teenage photo shoots for one month only. This will include a photo session in a location of your choice in Colchester (or local surrounding villages) plus unlimited outfit changes and use of props. You'll also get your favourite picture uploaded to Facebook for you to use and an online gallery via my website.

Teen photo sessions usually cost £70 and £5 from every photo shoot is donated to Teenage Cancer Trust. For one month only I'm reducing the cost to just £20 per session and still donating £5 of that fee to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Even better than that if you book with a friend I'll photograph your sessions together for just £30 and still give a donation to TCT. That way you get an even better deal (just £15 each!) and the moral support of your friend on the day!

This is a great opportunity for you to put your prom dress back on for a chance to 'rock the frock' in a location where you'd never dream of wearing it normally. Like Sophie below who brought some vintage glamour to her derelict backdrop.

Even without a prom dress, teen photo shoots are like mini fashion shoots. You call the shots by bringing along what you like to wear and I'll work my magic to make you look fantastic. A usual photo session lasts about 1 - 2 hours. We'll walk around your location and incorporate as many different backdrops as possible.

After your photo session I'll visit you and your parents in your home to show you your photographs. There you can decide which you'd like to purchase and which picture you'd like me to upload to Facebook for you. All orders placed after your session will also generate a 5% donation to Teenage Cancer Trust.

There is no minimum order and product prices start at just £10. There really is nothing stopping you!!

The Teen Photo Shoot deal is available from 7th July to the 7th August 2011 and must take place this summer. Email kerrie@kerriemitchell.co.uk to book your slot now!

*This deal is separate from the teen representative referral programme*

Millie- Teen Representative 2011 - Mersea Photo Shoot

Millie's teen photo shoot is so whimsical, girly and full of pastel colours,  I have been so excited to get it blogged.

We met at Seaview beach in Mersea which is where we found these gorgeous pastel beach huts lining the seafront. Having lived in Colchester my whole life I'm surprised I've never heard of this area or already been there, but it made a brilliant backdrop for Millie's photos.

Millie is like many other teens going through exams at the moment. So I wish not only her but all of you the best of luck for the coming few months.

Remember if you're interested in your own teen shoot in a location of your choice a donation is made to Teenage Cancer Trust for everyone I book. I'm also now offering gift vouchers just email kerrie@kerriemitchell.co.uk and ask. They make the perfect present for good exam results!

Gemma - Teen Representative 2011 - Braintree Teen Photo Shoot.

Gemma reminds me of exactly of how I would be if I were her age and going for a photo shoot. Nervous! She started off shy, but after a few frames she hit her stride and enjoyed the process and this is the case with everyone I photograph. It's always nerve wracking being in front of the camera! I'm happy to say you can't tell in these pictures though, she looks amazing and I had a hard time cutting them down for blogging and Facebook. Gemma's sister Kate also did her some great make-up.

Gemma chose to have her photo shoot at a park nearby her house and then we wandered down to the Braintree Public Gardens when she changed outfits. It was also such a gorgeous day weather-wise, which made me glad that we had previously cancelled Gemma's shoot twice! I much prefer these results than what we would have got in rainy cold March.

I brought along a couple of camera's for Gemma to pose with in this shoot because she has started studying photography at college so we thought it would be fitting to have her pose with my Polaroid and Diana camera.

Make sure you leave some comments on the blog and let Gemma know just how great she did, despite those worries!

Hannah & Jack - Teen Representatives 2011 - Elmstead Farm Photo Shoot

Hannah and Jack opted to have their teen photo shoots together, and it took place on their aunt and uncles farm in Elmstead Market. Lucky for us we got chauffeured around in attempt to avoid the mud. Which was fine for a while until we went off the beaten track slightly and had to walk so the car didn't get stranded in mud.

Hannah's feet ended up covered and she got slightly grubby from laying on trees, Jack ended up with corn everywhere! But luckily you can't tell from the pictures...

Hope you both like the pictures :)

Charlotte H - Teen Representative 2011 - Braintree Photo Shoot

Charlotte is my fourth teen representative and had some great ideas for her photo shoot. We photographed her first two looks in a field opposite her house and despite it being slightly boggy the pictures look fab. We then went to Braintree Freeport station for her final look and got some great pictures there.

Charlotte also opted to use a make-up-artist for her photo shoot. The lovely Charlie Ross came along and did two make-up looks for the shoot, and Charlotte had never worn fake eyelashes before so it was a complete transformation!

Charlie Ross is available for all teen photo shoots, and if you'd like her to come along to provide your make up for a limited time she'll do so for just £15.

I'm going to get this post started with some behind the scenes images of the make-up process, then we'll dive straight into Charlotte's shoot.

We got some amazing light at the end of the photo shoot whilst at the station. You'd never guess it's February! Thanks for inviting us along Charlotte!
