A Photographers Shoot Swap

Last thursday I met up with five photographers at the Salthouse Harbour Hotel in Ipswich. We'd come together in order to photograph each other for fun and also so we could update our 'about me' pictures on our websites. 

Working for yourself can be incredibly isolating at times, especially if you work from home. I sometimes feel like I go days without stepping outside or interacting with real people, so it was really refreshing to spend the day outside with a group of likeminded people. We spoke about business and bookings, about things we'd been trying. Shared tips on shooting and ate lunch in the sunshine.

Had the pleasure of meeting up with this lovely lady last weekend. We had a bit of lunch and then decided to practice on each other... I have more to edit, but couldn't resist posting this one!

The Photography Parlour - London Meet-Up

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of spending the day with 11 other photographers in London. After a slight nightmare trying to find the location of the cafe we were meeting, and finding others who were also as lost as me we walked, talked and used each other as models for a bit of a practice shoot.

The weather decided to assist us on the day with so much wind, so we all look a bit blustery (or at least I've noticed I do in everyones pictures!) I had a lovely time meeting you all, and hope that we'll all meet again for future meet-ups or shoots :)
